The following are links to various sites where you can find information about your Social Security benefits status, history of U.S. Taxation, taxpayer demographics, etc. The Social Security Administration The Social Security Administration web site is a great place to request earnings reports and to get answers to questions about Social Security benefits.
United States Treasury This site has up to the minute information about the US Treasury, including news releases, interest rates on US bonds, etc.
History of Taxation in the United States - wikipedia This site shows that taxes have been levied in one form or anther throughout our history. Congress enacted an income tax in October 1913 levying a 1% tax on net personal income above $3,000. Tax rates have fluctuated greatly and show that periods of higher tax rates coincide with periods of economic expansion, and that lower rates occurred prior to the current economic recession.

American Institute of Certified Public Accountants This site is the national professional association for American CPA's who pay for membership and who must be in good standing to be a member. It lists the CPA's who are members and other information about each member. Click "For the Public" and link to "Peer Reviews" to see our firm's peer review results.
Colorado Society of Certified Public Accounts This site is the state society for Colorado CPA's who pay for membership and who must be in good standing to be a member. It lists the CPA's who are members and other information about each member. Each state has a separate state society for that state's CPA's.
Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies This site allows the public to check the status of all professional licenses issued by the State of Colorado. To start a search, select the profession, then the name and choose the type of license, such as "Accountancy" to search for a CPA's license. If the person is not listed, then they do not have a license, and if it shows any "actions on file" it means that the Agency logged complaints, our firm has no actions on file which is good.

Gross Domestic Production (GDP) - Google Data This is a very informative site from which to view the Gross Domestic Production (GDP) of many different countries. Use this interactive graph to see the relative levels of each country's production. For example, note that the size of the US GDP is about equal to China, Germany, and Great Britain combined. Check the box on the left side of this site to view the line graph for any other countries.
World Population Data This PDF file has extensive data on population levels and growth rates by country. Use this data to get a perspective on the relative size of the US population and related demographics.
